So there you have it - a few sneak peeks at the room. It's not quite ready yet for a full reveal, but it's getting closer. So much trash, so much recycling, so many dishes (I won't even guesstimate how many I found IN and BEHIND the desks. Um, yeah...we have a problem there!)

And of course, these aren't final photos...they are just current progress photos - although I would have to say that my own desk is pretty much nearly the way it will stay. I like the way my desk looks and I have been doing a good job of maintaining the look that I want for it to have. And the boys' desks are pretty much cleared off. They left pictures that they were working on out on their desks and their lamps on, but their desks have stayed fairly well cleared off. Although I'm not sure why Boy B has a toilet paper roll holder on his desk. I know which bathroom it goes to, just not sure why it's on his desk instead of, well, let's say...holding a roll of toilet paper? But easy enough to fix that. :) Good luck to all of you with your challenges!
You're doing great! I also just have to say that I am in total lust over your bag that you showed in the previous post. It's sooo fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I did notice on some of the pictures that there is still a mess and clutter happening on some surfaces - but, um, it's different clutter than in the previous pictures, so it shows that it's been at least cleared off in between sessions, right? LOL!
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to get the room done and to do the big reveal - let's just say that there will not be an overview shot of the room until Feb. 28th...partly because of the mess that remains in the middle of the floor (LOL!) but mostly because of the overall layout change in the room. It has made the hugest difference in the way that the room looks, feels and functions! It's a very cool thing!
And the bag...yeah...I have a very unhealthy attachment to that bag. It's not too big to be used as an everyday purse now is it? Wait. Don't tell me that it is. Because I don't want to hear it. I will live in denial of that fact for as long as absolutely possible or necessary. LOL!
